Crowns and Bridges

We want to help you gain and maintain a beautiful smile. Crowns and bridges are a great way to do this when teeth are damaged, missing, or you require extractions due to trauma or severe decay.

If you do require extractions, our team is dedicated to keeping you comfortable during this process. This includes numbing agents, nitrous oxide, or—if you are feeling especially anxious—safe and effective IV sedation.

Dental crowns enhance the look and strength of a damaged tooth to keep it viable and attractive. Dental bridges, on the other hand, fill in for missing teeth to give you an uninterrupted smile. Our patients love our restoration work, and we think you’ll be happy, too.

Dental Crowns for Damaged Teeth

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cover that goes on over an existing tooth that is damaged, weak or unattractive. A dental crown not only enhances the look of your tooth, but it provides stability, which means you can enjoy your favorite foods again!

We take an impression of your damaged tooth, removes the decayed or damaged areas, and then places your crown, which will look and function like your natural teeth. We are even able to color your restoration to match your smile. In fact, no one will realize that you even have a dental crown.

Dental crowns represent both cosmetic and tooth-saving dentistry.

Dental Bridges for a Full Smile

If you have missing teeth or a damaged tooth or teeth that require one or more extractions, a dental bridge is a practical way to fill in the gaps.

A dental bridge holds a restoration tooth and is kept in place with dental crowns attached to adjacent teeth on either side of the restoration. In some cases, dental implants may be used to help keep your bridge in place—especially if you have multiple missing teeth in the same area—and prevent bone loss in the jaw area where teeth are missing.

Caring for Dental Crowns and Bridges

We provide fillings that are colored to match your teeth. This means no more silver! Tooth-colored fillings are cosmetic, but they are also a big part of our general dentistry.

Dental Bonding

Restorations require care just like natural teeth. One of dentists will provide aftercare instructions, but it is important to utilize good oral hygiene at home.

Remember, restorations will not prevent gum disease, but a good oral hygiene program at home and regular dental visits will!
